System Cleaning Guidance

Under the supervision of Nursing and Activities staff, appropriate personnel will be assigned to clean and disinfect the systems per your infection control policy. We recommend disinfecting between each resident’s use. Please use disinfecting wipes or apply disinfecting solution to a microfiber cloth and then completely wipe down the touchscreen computer and all accessories. Use a dry microfiber cloth to remove any residue.

DO NOT spray disinfectant directly on the screen as this may cause irreparable harm to the system.

 

We also encourage you to ensure residents, family members and staff wash their hands prior to using the system and educate all staff on how to clean iN2L equipment to minimize the potential for cross contamination.
